ARRR, MATEY

Here are some pictures and video for you guys. I've also provided a little bit of an update at the end of this post, for those of you who are interested. ;-)

i'm not really sure where this came from. it ended up in his bag when he came home from grandma and papa's house. it's supposed to be a pirate's hat or doo-rag or whatever. :-P

another party at pump-it-up. very popular place to have a birthday party lately. he loved it! ran around with his "girlfriend" sarah most of the time.

getting ready to go down the slide.

he's the man. sittin between the girlies. the little booger just drinks and drinks until it's all gone. doesn't stop to take a breath or anything.

mmmm, cake...he did pretty good with the fork, but it's always more fun to use his fingers.

Aiden is just soaking everything up lately. He's starting to put some words together - not quite sentences, but he's working on it. He is such a copy cat, too. He started saying "come on" this weekend. It just amazes me that he's not even 2 yet and the things he does say, you can totally understand. Most kids say wala or wa wa for water, but he really pronounces the -er. Same with paper. It's crazy and awesome all at the same time!

He's also somehow learned to blink or wink. I'm not sure which one since it's both eyes. But if I wink, he blinks, so maybe he's trying to wink. Who knows.

We've got to work on his bedtime routine. The little booger stayed up until about 11pm on Saturday night. He just wasn't having it. Maybe he thought he was missing out on the fun since we had friends over.

I've been prepping him for the Yu visit this weekend. We've been looking at pictures of halmoni, halabuji and eemo and I'll ask him where eemo is and who's that and he does pretty good most of the time. Sometime he points to halbi for halmi, and vice versa, but that's to be expected. :-) I'm so excited! I know they're coming to visit, mostly to see him, but it will be nice to have the whole family together. :-) Oh, and Jennifer...I've got all the ingredients to make Cocoa Oatmeal Whoopie Pies!
