We're letting Aiden's hair grow back out for fall/winter. But his hair is growing over his ear and he almost has a rat tail. Hahaha. So, here we are...I thought using scissors would help, but that child is a squirmer. Ashley tried to even out the back with a small trimmer, but Aiden wasn't having that either. I mean, he happily and voluntarily got up on the chair, and said hair cut, after daddy was done. But that was the extent of the happy and easy Aiden.

You like the way the front part lays down, but the back spikes up? Nice. Hopefully as it grows out, it will lay forward. Otherwise, we'll be using some product. Even I don't use any product. And ever since Ashley buzzed his hair, he doesn't either. :-P

Lookie what Aiden's class gets for their afternoon snack today...no, it's not ice cream. It's a frosted cupcake in an ice cream cone. :-)

Cute, huh? I made a "funfetti" type cake on the inside:

Then frosted the tops with a "funfetti" type frosting with sprinkles on top:

Here are a few more photos of Aiden to tide you over until the weekend. Well, for those of you who will be here for his birthday anyway. :-)

Wow...like Martha said...you ARE the cool mom! I would be the mom ignoring the fact that it was her child's birthday with the class (bad mom! ;-)). Thank y'all for inviting us to Aiden's birthday party BTW...Alexandra had so much fun jumping!
And...say NO! to hair product! He's only TWO! He's adorable any way his hair is! ;-)
