BTW, for those of you who read this...and are still at my old work place...let's just keep this between us, shall we? :-) Thanks.
Everything just seemed to happen all at once. I'm working in a bakery 4 days a week and it's been harder than expected. But, there was a reason why I was sooo tired every day. :-P
School's (Culinary Arts) been fun and interesting, but driving 45 minutes there and back is not.
Aiden is, well, a two-year old. :-) He'll be great one minute and the next he's crying his eyes out. I let him have half of a whoopie pie when he got home today (sorry Jennifer, I took a picture for you...I know it's not the same as actually eating one), and bawled when I wouldn't let him have any more. He finally stopped crying when I walked out of the kitchen and went to do something else. It's all about distraction...I think.
He's a talkative sunnuva lately. And trying to form complete sentences all the time. It's totally amazing just listening to what he's trying to communicate to me. Telling me about who he saw at school. What he's doing right now. And he's always asking us, "what's doing mommy/daddy?" Or saying, "do by myself."
He loves to dance and listen to music amd he likes to watch videos on noggin.com when mommy or daddy's doing something on the computer.
He loves dinosaurs and pirates (we got him a pirate costume for halloween - i'll try to snap a pic soon).
He watches Dragon Tales non-stop, and Ashley just introduced him to Duck Tales, so that's been in the mix lately as well.
He cries when you tell him it's time to brush his teeth.
He likes his daddy to read to him.
He's still not much of a sleeper. I sit in his room with him until he falls asleep.
He likes to hold something in his hands when sleeping - Uniqua & Pablo pirates (Backyardigans), Leo & Quincy (Little Einsteins), dinosaurs or Diego & Baby Jaguar or Alicia cars (Go Diego Go). Yes, one of those, specifically.
He likes to get out of his bed a few times before finally settling in. Then he wakes up in the middle of the night and runs over to our room and crawls up in bed with us.
When he's at home with us, he doesn't sleep past 7am. However, he's been known to sleep until 8am at his grandparents. Wonder why that is?
His favorite foods, that I know of or that he asks for, are yogurt, oatmeal, macaroni & cheese and noodles. He'll eat chips, fries, cookies and cake of course. He refers to most cakes and cupcakes as happy cakes, since he sees those at birthdays. He loves to snack on goldfish and applesauce. The one thing that's not easy for me to get him to eat is proteins...beef, chicken, fish, pork, whatever. If I put veggies in something he'll eat it sometimes, but not if you just try to get him to eat a piece of it.
He poo-poos in the potty and he pees as well. He actually tells us when he needs to poo-poo and on occasion he'll tell us he needs to pee, but I don't think he really gets it yet.
So, that's what's been going on...doesn't seem like much when you can sum it up in a couple paragraphs, huh? :-P
Ok, on to what you really wanted to see...pictures of Aiden. :-)

Oh, and Jennifer, this one's for you. :-)
