FIRST TRIP TO THE LAKE

In preparation for our trip to the lake on Saturday, Julie and I went to Target and picked up some swim shorts, some swim diapers, sunscreen and a lifejacket. I ended up purchasing a tote bag I saw on sale that doubled as a bag for our towels, sunscreen and a diaper bag. :-) You can see in the pictures that Aiden was having fun in the water and sand. And was passed out for part of it as well. :-P

Sunday was spent cleaning the house and shopping for groceries since Ashley's family was coming to lunch on Memorial day. It took us ALL day to clean the house because Aiden wasn't being cooperative. One of us had to play with him or be with him while the other did their part. Not easy.

Grandma, Papa, Uncle Wes, Aunt Heather and Cousin Ethan came over around noon on Monday. We had ribs, chicken, hot dogs, beans, corn, pasta salad, chips, queso & salsa. Too bad I didn't get a picture of the spread! Jennifer would have loved to see it. Heehee.
