I know, it's been a few weeks. But with Thanksgiving and all, I'm sure you understand. :-)
We headed down to the Johnson's Wednesday night. With a turkey, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole ingredients, gingerbread bars, Aiden & supplies, Sienna & supplies and clothes & toiletries for an evening, dinner for Wednesday night (wings). I can't believe we almost filled up the Pilot. I mean really. Plus, I thought we'd be able to get out of town sooner than we did. Ashley was able to leave work around noon and I was there till 3:45pm. What's up with that? By the time I ran my errands (Aiden needed more diapers and we needed oil for the fryer and food for dinner), I think it was 6pm.
We finally got there and ate some dinner. Well, Aiden didn't really. Ever since he's been sick, he hasn't wanted to each much. He finally ate a whole meal last night. :-) Anyway, that night he had a blast running around the house with some sunglasses on. That little booger.
Thanksgiving morning was spent preparing and cooking the two birds and finishing up all the side dishes. Here's a list of what was on the table:
Turkey - 1 roasted & 1 fried
Dressing
Giblet Gravy
Mashed Potatoes
Corn
Rolls
Salad
Green Bean Casserole
Cranberry sauce - 1 roasted, 1 boiled
Ham
It was a bit chaotic since Aiden wasn't feeling well. Ashley watched him while I scarfed down my meal and then we traded. He's doing much better now, thank goodness...and back in school. Whew...back to the daily routine.
Oh, you want to see pictures? :-P
Here's a couple videos too. Riding the Horsie & Running Around the House
