Dayne's staying with us a few days (nephew) and is so good with Aiden. Aiden loves to play with him. Of course, he's 11, so, he has other "older boy" things to do. You know, sleep till 10 or 11 am. Play video games, skateboard (but only in the afternoon, because he's not a morning person) and just general nothingness. It is his summer vacation, you know. ;-)
Aiden has been trying to put together more sentences lately. The latest one was, "Ow, that hurt momma," said after he bumped his noggin on a desk...not after a spanking. Haha. ;-)
We went to the city pool the other day and had a blast. He loved playing in the water. He even walked to where the water came up over his chest. His face went in a few times, but that didn't bother or stop him. Julie and I tried to get him to blow out, so he wouldn't inhale the water, but he just liked to do it right above the water, not quite in it. Oh well, he'll get the hang of it soon enough.
