Groggity Grogg Grogg

stretch

Sleep around here has been lacking...at least for me. Well, a little bit for Ashley too, but mostly me. :-P I jinxed myself when I said it wasn't so bad with Sophie. She's been staying awake at night, for about 2-3 hours anywhere between midnight and 6am. This morning she woke up around 2:30am, nursed, napped from maybe 3am-4am. Then she was up until 8am or so. Nice, huh? I figured I wasn't going back to sleep any time soon, so I made some muffins when Sophie gave me a little break around 6am. Yes, I know, I'm weird.

What that means is, she let me put her down for about 10-15 minutes. Usually, if she's awake, you have to have hands on her. I may have mentioned that before. I'm not sure. This past week has been kind of cloudy. I've been in a sleepless haze.

After Sophie was born, my face went crazy. Looks like Sophie's already taking after momma. :-P She's got a little baby acne going on.

Sounds like I'm being summoned. More later.

I remember the days (weeks, months) of being foggy all the time. Hannah caused me lots of grief at night... oh, but to be able to go back and hold her as a newborn... :) It really does pass quickly, even if it doesn't seem like it at the time.
