Crazy Days

This weekend was busy busy for us. Actually, it started on Friday. I had an appointment at Glory Bee to talk to them about coming back to work in the next month or so (which means Aiden will be going back full time & Sophie will be headed there *sniffle*) and also to take some pics for them.

Sienna had gone to the vet a few months back and we found out she has heartworms. So, this month she went back to get a treatment and came back with tons of meds that Ashley's giving her every day. Along with that she can't get hot or get her heart rate up. Which means, no outside and no Chico. Luckily the in-laws were nice enough to let us bring Chico to their house and let him run around their big yard for a few months. So, Ashley picked Aiden up from school on Friday and drove Chico up there in the truck. Aiden just loves loves loves to ride in daddy's truck.

Saturday was Julie's baby shower, so I had to finish up the goodies for that. I made the icing for the petit fours on Thursday night and covered them. Then Friday night I "decorated" them and made the strawberry cream cheese frosting for the cupcakes. Saturday morning I frosted the cupcakes. I'd already made the cake, cupcakes and cookies over a week ago and froze them so they'd be ready for me whenever I needed them.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the goodies, so I was happy. After the shower we hung out with the Fords and one of their couple friends from Louisiana. We just ate some dinner and chilled until we had to take Aiden & Sophie home and put them to bed.

Sunday was Aiden's birthday party. Yes, I know, it's a few weeks late. It won't happen again. :-P He had a blast. He wanted everyone to do stuff with him. Aunt Heather, Uncle Wes, Michael Michael, Ethan...he was so excited. He was very well behaved too. He got some cool stuff that daddy, I mean he can play with, that is currently strewn all over the living room floor.

Now that all this is over, Ashley asked me what I was going to do with myself. :-P Well, it's back to the usual...loads of laundry, keeping up with Aiden & Sophie - omg, she rolled over by herself today! Can you believe it? Not even 4 months old yet. Go Sophie! I have a video, but it is like the total tail end of the roll over. This girl is going to be crawling before I know it! Yikes!
