Johnson Fam: My Little Ham

Aiden is turning into more of a ham these days. He wants me to take his picture and take videos of him, so he can see them. And everytime I try to take a picture of Sophie, when he's around, he inevitably ends up in the picture.

Yesterday he apparently said something so out of the blue and cute that I was so sad I missed it. Ashley and Aiden were in the back yard picking up sticks and Aiden was playing around with them and sticking them in some holes in the ground. One of them stood up to his chin and he took it as a microphone and said "Ladies and Gentleman, I give you, my four-wheeler!" I was like, what? No way! Huh? Where'd he get that? Probably from one of his cartoons, but it just seemed so random.

He's always asking "can I show you something" these days and of course we say, sure, what is it? If I'm not looking directly at him or whatever it is he's showing me, he says "turn your face around". Hahaha. Not, turn your head around or look over here, but turn your face around. Frickin hilarious.

Aiden went to a birthday party this weekend - Hailey, a friend from school, was turning three and her parents rented a water slide. Phew was it hot. I was sitting on the deck in the shade and was still sweating up a storm. Of course he only went down the slide a total of ONE time. He just stood in the water and played with a water balloon the rest of the time. Oh, and ate frosting off her Nemo cake. He kept wanting to go inside and play with her toys instead!
