After our long drive home from Kansas, we were wiped. Ashley and I tried to stay up and watch a movie after the kiddos went to bed. We didn't even make it halfway through. I actually set an alarm to wake us up before midnight...well tried to anyway. I'd accidentally set it for AM instead of PM...hahaha. Instead Aiden woke us up around 1:30am. Oops.
Now that we've had a nice long vacation - oh, so Mobberly is undergoing some renovations and the construction workers hit the water and sewer lines. Not good. There was no water and they couldn't use the bathrooms...so, they called all the parents and said come get your kiddos. They were already closed Christmas Eve and Christmas, so this was an extra day of vacation, I guess - we are back to our regularly scheduled program...with the addition of a crawler! Ack!
Speaking of the crawler. She is into everything. I can not leave her unattended for more than a minute. Who knows where she'll end up.
And the girl would rather play with any of Aiden's toys than her own. She loves having him around to play too. He's a little jealous and possessive, but I try to get him to do an "exchange". If there's a toy she's playing with that's his, he has to bring her a toy to play with. It works about half the time. :-P
I made some chocolate ice cream with my new ice cream maker. I think I'm spoiled now. I may not be able to eat store bought ice cream again!
