Ok, so where was I about a month ago? It was Valentine's Day, right. See, another holiday!
Anyway, I'll try to remember what's been going on since then.
We had a crazy snow day last month.

Valentine's Day came and went.

sour cream pancakes with strawberry sauce & fresh whipped cream
We spent some time with family and played with their toys.

Went to a friend's birthday party (Izzy turned 2), where I made the cupcakes.

Got to play with Miss Anna, who is about 6 months younger than Sophie. The first child of some friends of ours.

The boys have been playing legos almost every night.

I made lots of yummy goodies.

homemade glazed doughnuts

chocolate pie

brownie cupcakes

homemade cinnamon rolls

sweetened condensed milk pound cake

coffee toffee bars

apple crumble/crisp

garlic naan
Only a month and a half left before Sophie turns 1! I swear it seems like just yesterday I was at the hospital with her. It's crazy how she's grown and changed. She's crawling around pretty fast these days. She pulling up on everything and scooting along things just a little bit. She can stand by herself for a few seconds, but then plops right down on her booty. She's eating just about everything. She's starting to spit out some vegetables. Oh dear... She's very smart, of course. ;-) She knows when I'm in the kitchen it's almost dinner time, so she starts begging for food like a little puppy dog. If we say doggy, she stretches her hand out and points to the back yard where Sienna is (Chico is currently at Grandma & Papa's). She loves playing in Aiden's room, even though her room has lots of toys. Aiden's are better. Aiden will play with her and let her play with his toys, unless it's something he wants to play with or doesn't want her to play with at the time. He also knows which toys or things in his room she's not supposed to touch and he snatches them away. It's nice that he helps, but you know that causes some friction. hehe
Aiden is doing well in preschool. His teacher writes notes on his papers about what they've done and that he's doing well. They've gone through the alphabet and numbers and colors, so now they're working on their own names. But, Aiden can already spot an A a mile away. He thinks all A's are for Aiden. He's great at his colors and shapes, and can even pick out numbers, but he's still working on all the letters. But he is 3, so he's doing fantastic. Am I biased? Yes. Is it true anyway? Yes. :-D
He is growing like a weed too. He is definitely taking after his daddy. Tall and skinny. I think Sophie may take after her mommy. Petite and round. *giggle*
Oh, and Aiden is starting to get a little more of an accent. His "a" sounds are a little more drawn out than normal. Guess we'll have to work on that. Haha
Ok, just a few more pics to tide you over until next time. I always say I'm going to blog more, but then I don't. Sorry!

she LOVES to be pushed around in the car

Thanks for the updates! Sophie is so cute in her pigtails!! She's gotten big. It's fun to see a picture of Anna, also. I haven't seen a picture since she was born (you need to pressure them to start a blog!). :)
And now I'm off to find something sweet to eat, I suddenly got a craving...
Cute crazy hair on Sophie and some very impressive Lego creations! I was also glad to see Anna since I haven't seen her since she was two weeks old! We gotta have more game nights! ha
