ashley gets anxious when i put her in the sling and walk around hands free :-P
BTW, would love to try out one of the ring slings. My sister got me this "Peanut Shell". It took a few times to figure out how to get her in there without taking forever. She doesn't like it when she's awake so much, but when she's sleeping she doesn't budge.

Sophie's already growing out of the newborn and 0-3 month stuff. Not so much in roundness, but lengthwise. :-P And that hair...I swear I comb it down after her bath, but as soon as it's good and dry, it goes right back up.

Her nursing has calmed down a little bit, which tells me she's past a growth spurt. But, I'm sure it'll pick back up soon enough. :-) I can also tell that Sophie and Aiden are totally different. Around this time with Aiden we were up all night with a wailing baby. With Sophie, she gets fidgety and you have to hold her or find a good position with her, but she doesn't cry constantly. Hers are just short spurts of really piercing cries. Haha. That doesn't mean I'm not exhausted, though.

So what's up with Aiden...oh Aiden...some days he wakes up in a foul mood and we can't get rid of it all day. Other days, he's in a good mood, but it turns foul...sometimes the opposite. There is no telling with this boy lately. He loves to be outside. He helped his daddy mow the lawn yesterday and even cut down some branches from the trees. He has to put water in the dirt to make some mud so he can push his truck through it.

Aiden has a major sweet tooth as well. Of course, what 2 year old doesn't? I made some chocolate chip pancakes the other day and he ate it by picking out the chocolate chips. *sigh*

he blinked - then i showed him the picture of his eyes closed

then he did this. such a joker.
It's all about him showing us something or telling us something or asking where Sophie is. We (Aiden & I) went to the grocery store yesterday and he got to ride in one of the carts that has a car in the front. Child did not want to go home he was having too much fun. But then I told him Daddy called and Sophie wasn't happy, so we had to go home. He said, "Feed her". LOL. I told him as soon as we got home I'd feed her. He's very perceptive. He knows that when she cries or whines she either wants to be picked up or fed. This morning she was in her bouncer and was fidgeting, so he told Daddy to "Pick her up".
Now, let me leave you with this drool-worthy, but not quite as tasty photo (I made them this weekend and they were good, but not great. It was either too bready or missing something, I'm not quite sure. Definitely not comparable to Cinnabon. But, trust me when I say it didn't stop my little sugarholic from eating it.)
